I purchased this player in Feb 2009 and it has just quit on me after 12 months of CONSTANT 24/7 use. I am disabled and it is difficult for me to get up to change the DVD on a tv set. This is my second COBY 10 in and both have lasted about a year under constant use. I do not have cable TV and therefore I play DVD’s (I’m one of Netflix’s best customers!), constantly. I need something playing at night so I can sleep. I think these players last up well under my constant use.
